Sideview of the pizza base, its really yummy. Hub says its the nicest pizza I ever made! 🤷‍♀️ Too hungry or maybe really good? Even youngest had 2 slices. Top it with sausages, tomato and cheese = PERFECT!

The recipe only require to mix into a dough and leave it to proof. All I need to do was roll it up n top with my pizza ingredients. Yummy!!

Simple Happy Meal

The other day, I just baked  Italian Bread with mixed Fruits and since i was running out of ideas what to cook for lunch on a Friday, I decided to make sausage and cheese bread. I pair with the kids fav corn and chocolate fondue cereal. And of cos, both have their juice fix, since I aldy prepared strawberries for their snack in school. What's a little treat, chill orange juice? Haha~

I drizzled some salad cream, placed the sliced mini sausage on the bread, put shredded cheddar and little cubes of Laughing Cow cheese, dash of chopped Thyme. Wow, lunch is fixed. Baked for 10mins and it smell great. I microwaved the frozen corn for 30seconds, put into my gal's fav pink heart-shaped Cuppies, together with their favourite cereal and chilled juice. I think they would be thinking its great to be on a Friday!

Therefore I am sharing this quick and simple meal with my readers, am sure it will solve some headaches for meal time. And not to mention when my older gal requested to have it for breakfast on some days as well as she wanna bring to school for snacks before enrichment classes.

Quick Fix Dinner - Cheat Pizza

Just to share my family favorites for dinner, or even snacks or lunch!! Using Mission Wholegrain Wraps as pizza base, you can add mushrooms, tomatoes, baby spinach & cheddar.. Practically any toppings work...

Sometimes I take frozen nuggets or Chix strips and cut into thin slices, or even fresh scallops or prawns.. Many variations that you can play around with. As for the pizza sauce, I am using Prego Tomato and Basil pasta sauce

Try it when you are feeling lazy but yet on the mission for preparing dinner!! Sure to wow!! I normally serve it with a side platter!! Yum yum...

Pizza
1 pc Wholegrain Wrap
2Tbsp Prego Tomato & Basil Sauce
Toppings as preference
Cheddar

1) Preheat oven at 200deg
2) Spread sauce thinly over wrap. Scatter a bit of cheddar over wrap and put toppings around.
3) Put more cheddar to cover the pizza top.
4) Bake for 10-15mins or until pizza top starts to brown. Serve warm.

Sudden Pizza Crust Experiment

Tonight was pizza night as I have a new pack of Mission Wraps lying at home. In order not to wait til it expire, I have to make something out of it. And the most enjoyable treat from using the wrap is making thin-crust pizza using it as base.

Both my hubby and grandma likes it. But then, a pack of 8 slices usually is too much for us to finish in a meal. End up my itchy fingers does it job again, searching for something simple.
Erm.. Perhaps something went wrong somewhere cos my crust was nt as thin as what was on Carol's blog. So sad huh. But hubby says not bad la, considering it is home-made crust and my generous toppings on the pizza sort of salvage it. Perhaps, I should 'itchy fingers' for some more experiments.
Speaking of pizza, I used to have to prepare something else for the kids as they can't really appreciate pizza. Today, I was surprised that my gal had 3 slices and my boy had 2. Both asked for more after that. Didn't gave more as they had fries and nuggets to go along. So it seems tt cooking is becoming easier day by day. =)

Pizza (adapted from Carol)
*I halve the recipe and end up with 2 x approx 6" pizza*
150g Plain flour
1tsp salt
7g Olive Oil
80g Water

1) Mix all ingredients together into smooth dough
2) Proof for 1 hour
3) Divide into 2 portion and stretch dough thin. Put pizza toppings
4) Bake at 210deg for 10-12min
