Roasting Pork



Decided to be simple, I wanna haf a try at roasting pork. I estimated the marination and just rub it over the pork belly after washing and poking a bit with a fork.

I wrap the bottom part of the pork belly with aluminum foil so that it can 'stand' on the baking tray as I gotten 2 skinny thin strips of pork belly. While it is roasting, I am feeling hungry already. And I can't share recipe as I did it impromptu. It is approximately 1/2Tbsp of Salt, Pepper, 5-Spice powder, mix together then rub onto the pork belly. And I baked them for 45mins, or until golden brown and crispy.

Verdict: Still couldn't grasp how to make the skin super crispy. Some portion were crispy, some were not. But the overall taste if very flavourful. I used it to 加料 to my Stir Fry Brocolli w/Tomato. Simply delish.

My 3-dish Dinner... And dinner for my 2 noti kids!
