Simple bulgogi beef/pork wraps

Following the Tik Tok wrap challenge style of wrapping, I finally had time to try them!

I did a light marination with our favourite bulgogi sauce and leave it to chill in the fridge while I washed up my lettuce and fry an egg omelette.

Afterwhich i grill them seperately for 10mins each with light stirring in between. Really simple and easy as lunch can be done so fast without an oily kitchen to clean up! I shld have also make my omelette in the pot which I forgot about it and got my gal to fry for me while I was busy preparing the lettuce. So, point to note for my next round! 1 less pan to wash!!

Lunch is served in 20mins odd and its the kids favourite meal! Yummy!! Check out my short video of wrapping them! Love this new style of wrapping as it is easier to eat for the kids and less droppings of the sauce and ingredients. 😋

Airfried Crispy Spring Chicken

Been thinking to try using my Ninjafoodi to aircrisp crispy chicken especially my favourite spring chicken.

Chanced upon this crispy flour while doing grocery shopping and I remembered I bought similar for karage and it gives a nice crispy exterior.

I marinate with some seasonings then leave it in the fridge, minimally about 3-4hours ahead. Once ready to aircrisp, I rub the crispy flour over the chicken and place it in the airfryer basket. And final touch is to brush some oil on the chicken before aircrisp it!

To make it less sinful to eat, I laid them over plentiful of lettuce and pomelo with some sesame dressing and ate it as a meal. Yums! The 5-spice powder gives me nice flavour to the chicken.

Aircrisp Crispy Spring Chicken
1 Spring chicken
1Tbsp sesame oil
1Tbsp huatiao
1Tbsp pink salt
1Tbsp parsley flakes
1Tbsp 5-spice powder

Crispy flour to cover chicken
Some cooking oil to brush

1) Clean the spring chicken and cut off backside, head/neck and fats
2) Rub with above seasoning and cover with film in fridge to marinate for minimal 3-4 hours
3) Take out chicken and rub crispy flour all over chicken and put in airfryer basket
4) Brush some oil on chicken and select ‘Aircrisp mode’ 180deg x 10mins
5) Once done, flip and select ‘Aircrisp mode’ 180deg x8mins
6) Once done remove baking paper and flip again and ‘Aircrisp mode’ 150deg x10mins and flip repeat again. Monitor towards the last 3-5mins to ensure it is not burnt.

Grilled garlic pork strips

Have eaten this in a thai zichar takeaway and fell in love with it! The garlicky fragrance is so good! With the slight charred bits and slight crispy on the outside, it goes so well with beer.. LOL!

Decided to marinate to go along with our dinner tonite. Love how easy it is to prepare and just pop into my Ninjafoodi to grill them. All it takes is 15mins, flipping in between! Serve it along with some mayonaise or chilli sauce! ❤️❤️

Braised Mala Chicken Feet & Abalone

Lately the supermarkets are having loads of promotions and sales! I laid eyes on the frozen abalone as I have never tried braising them before.

I search on web a while then decided to just simply braise them and then add 1 scoop of mala paste for the final touch! Loved buying mala chicken feets but as the price is too expensive for a few feets, I have come to making them myself at home.

I added fish maw, mushroom, frozen abalone and chicken feets. Lightly marinate the chicken feet in the braise sauce the morning before cooking them. Jus add to Ninjafoodi with a 2/3 bowl of water just enough to cover the ingredients and pressure cook for 15mins!

I always use this brand of mala paste. Added then for final step! Yums!! Serve warm with plain rice! Lovely!

Vegemite Honey Drumlets

Inspired to make this using vegemite as I gotten a bottle to try out making some drumlets. Failed cos vegemite tasted too strong! This time round I decided to add honey and it was a HIT even for myself! ❤️❤️

Marinate them 2 days ahead as I was planning my meals for the weekends. Jus grill them using Ninjafoodi and they charred so nicely. Loved the grill mode as it doesnt dry up the meat too much.

Try them for urself! Great as a BBQ item or even using ur airfryer, oven to bake them!
