Family weekend out & Sunday routine

It's our children activity weekend again, and we choose to go to the Science Center today. I was browsing for some activities to do, after much thinking, we felt that Science Center is a good choice.

The Dinosaurs exhibition haven started yet, it will only be from Oct 25, 2013 onwards, $20 for adult and $16 for children 3yrs-12yrs. Hefty price for our family of 4. Today's normal admission is $12 per adult, $6 for child and senior citizen. We make use of the current promotion that allows FOC admission for those born in 1977, oppss exposed hubby's age, and he can bring 1 guest so we saved $12x2. Paid for my gal and my grandma. Great savings huh!!

We had our lunch and reached about 1pm. We had a walk briefly then proceed to the auditorium for the Insects show. And both my kids, including hubby 'TOUCH' the hissing cockroach that supposedly doesn't fly. Gosh.

We then walked some more, touching seeing and playing before proceeding to the Fire Tornado show at 3pm. By then, walked for another hour more and we are almost tire out. It's time to go for snacks and coffee.

We went to Jem, had varieties of food and snacks. The kids were definitely hungry as well. Had a fair share of food. After which, we entirely to Clementi Mall to get some stuff and had a quick and disappointing dinner at Thai Express. (I found a strand of hair in my Pad Thai and the CS skills is not good, enough said) That is definitely my first and last visit to that branch of Thai Express. Food were average and the recovery skills, seriously not up to standard.

We went home, with 2 tired kids who fell asleep on the way back which is a first for my gal. (She seldom fall asleep even after a day of shopping) I am at my routine, baking my BF for tml. Yummy...
We will definitely go back again, hopefully for the Dino Exhibition. Would recommend friends with young kids to go. And yes, there is a mini water park, I would definitely prep ourselves for that for our next visit.
