Simple Steam Fish

Been a while since I steam fish after the bad episode from the frozen fishes bought at NTUC. Today saw the fresh Grouper fillet and thought of steaming for the kids. Both my kids love fish, regardless of the cooking method. And I have a super fast and easy way of steaming it, on the rack given by rice cooker. It cooked together as we cooked the rice. Fast and simple and yummy of course.

You just need to come back and marinate the fish steak with salt after washing it. Then cut tomatoes slices, ginger slices. By then, you can wash away the salt. I cooked a Stir Fry Veg and Sesame Oil Ginger Pork Slices to go along for tonight's dinner. Simply heavenly... Mmmm...

Steam Fish
1 Grouper Fillet, washed and cleaned
Some ginger, sliced
1/4 Tomato, slice thinly
1Tbsp Sesame Oil
1Tbsp Lt Soy Sauce
Dash of pepper

1) Wash, marinate the fish fillet with salt for at least 15mins
2) Cut and slice ginger and tomato. Wash the salt off the fish and place the ginger and tomato over it.
3) Drizzle the above seasoning over the fish fillet. Place on the steamer rack and cook together with the rice. Serve warm.
